It is ideally positioned in a peaceful residential area, yet just a short distance away from the town centre and the surrounding area attractions.
Each evening you can relax in the comfort of your guestroom or, during the warmer months, enjoy views over the landscaped rear garden from the spacious conservatory. Alternatively you can head into Ipswich's vibrant town centre, which is home to a variety of restaurants, bars and cafès.

The lodge offers a range of single, twin and double rooms, and one family room, all of which are en suite. Some rooms are found on the ground floor, making them ideal for those with limited mobility. One has been purpose built for wheelchair users. Small ironing boards are available in each room and an iron can be provided upon request.
This room has either: 1 king-size bed and 1 single bed (3 feet / 90 cm). 2 smaller single beds (2 feet / 60 cm) and 1 standard single bed (3 feet / 90 cm). Please state your preference during booking.

The kitchen uses the freshest local produce wherever possible. As such, the menu changes with the season. But you can always enjoy a choice of cereals, toast and local jams, and a traditional full English breakfast. Breakfast is served from 07:00 until 08:00 (Monday to Friday) and from 07:30 until 08:30 (Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays). If you arrive for breakfast outside these times you are welcome to help yourself to cereals and toast. The lodge only serves breakfast, but you can find a variety of restaurants, bars and cafès in the surrounding area. The staff will be happy to recommend something to suit both your taste and your pocket.
By Car: From London A12: - When arriving at the outskirts of Ipswich, take the first slip road at 'Toys R Us'. - Follow signs for Ipswich Town Centre. - At the Civic Drive roundabout (you will see the Wolsey Theatre ahead of you), turn left. - At the next roundabout, turn right. - Continue past the bus station on your right and then the Milestone pub on your left. - As the road bears left and goes uphill it becomes Woodbridge Road. - Follow the road up the hill (staying in the left-hand lane) and continue straight over the first mini-roundabout. - On the approach to the second mini-roundabout (Barclays Bank opposite), move into the left-hand lane and the Lodge entrance is on the left of the roundabout. From Norwich/Midlands: - Take the first slip road signposted to Ipswich. - Continue past Asda, heading for the Town Centre. - Go straight on at all roundabouts, past the bus station on your right and then the Milestone pub on your left. - Then, as above. By Bus: From the Train Station: Take Route 66 bus line and ask for the Golden Key stop on Woodbridge Road - it is less than a 10 minute journey. Head towards the Barclays Bank and Lattice Lodge is on your left.
